If we are going to consider the concept of cultural relativism, the use of Fetal cell

lines or cells obtain from aborted fetus in covid-19 vaccine is really unethical especially
In the Philippines which is a Catholic country and here in our culture abortion is immoral.
Aside from that our law prohibits Such thing regardless of the rising population in the
country.

For many years, the issue in abortion has been a source of contention In the
country. Most of the Filipinos are opposed to it, while others believe that it is the woman's
right to decide whether or not to keep the kid after conception. Abortion, in the perspective
of a Filipino is the murder of unborn children, which means that it is illegal Under the
Philippine law. The most reasonable reason why Filipinos strongly oppose to this is
because the fact that an unborn child is a potential human being, and as such should be
granted the right to life disregarding the fact that a fetus is not yet a fully formed human
being. This idea was most likely influenced by the teachings in Catholic churches.
Apparently, this moral value though greatly affect the perception of the Filipinos regarding
the vaccine. Many are afraid of receiving the shot because of the fear that getting the
vaccine may mean that they are agreeing or enabling the action or worse, committing
the sin itself. However, the Catholic church corrected this concept. Contrary to what
people believe, it was emphasized that the vaccine was produced unethically however
the fact that those fetal cell lines were obtained hundred of years ago and were just
continuously reproduced means you are not directly receiving the product of the abortion,
thus, receiving these vaccines is not a problem and it’s your choice whether to receive
this or not.
