Objective:

-SWBAT Create their own All about me book

-SWBAT share their All about me book with others

Materials needed:Provided by teacher paper, pencil, Chromebook, printer.

Suggested group size: Independent assignment

Procedures:

Students will begin by writing the 1st draft of All about me. They can write about things
they would like to share about themselves with the class. When the story is ready for
publishing. Students will then get to Create a digital book by going to the website Book
creator. Students will click on start a new book and choose a book shape for this lesson
we will be using portrait. Students will start with the cover of their book. Students will
explore the tools by using the + sign on the upper right hand corner side you will start
with whatever tool you want that are available for their use. Students will be able to
insert images from google file or drive, just type in a keyword and click on the select
button image will appear on your screen and you can adjust it to your liking. Students
can add text, make their own illustrations by selecting the pen to draw. Click on the i
inspector button to change page color. Students will be able to use their own creativity
to design their book to their best capacity.This is optional but students can record
reading the book. After students complete their books we will print them in class.
Students will present to the class.
