a) What is the main goal for closure of Boracay last year of April?
-The main goal of boracay last April was to implement laws in
order for the island to go undergo serious rehabilitation.
b) Among the three impacts (economic, environmental and socio-
cultural ) upon closure of Boracay what particular impact being
addressed?
- I think all of the three impacts were being implemented during
the closure of boracay, because economically speaking, the closure of
boracay is due to its rehabilitation, to get the island back into its
wonderful state, therefore it can rise again economically for the local
and international tourists.
Environmentally, because as I said, it is done to implement laws on
getting the island back into its wonderful state in order for the tourists
to embrace once again the beauty of the island.
And socio-cultural, because tourists needs the island to be better than
before, they need to see the transformation the islands needs for them
to fall in love with the island again.
b) What was the good effect of closing Boracay among Filipino
citizens?
- as said in the video, the employment and the tourism for
boracay has rose to a shockingly high percentage.
d) What other destinations needs for rehabilitation?
- as also said in the video, they are working on bohol, and they
are planning to visit siargao, coron, and sagada.
