Philosophy 2
Harry and Rosemary Wong’s
Preventing Management Problems
6
Key Points of The Wong’s method.
❖ Begin by teaching students very thoroughly, the roles,
procedures, processes, and routines they were expected
to follow. Once students understand those requirements
and procedures, teachers are left free to focus almost
entirely on promoting learning.
7
How does The Wong’s method match my
teaching style?
Wong’s method is important and
relates to my teaching style because I
believe in teaching students rules and
procedures first, Establishing a solid
groundwork for students to
understand and be successful in
achieving success and growth is
crucial.
8
How I’ll use The Wong’s Method in my
classroom.
I would use this method in my
classroom by establishing rules and
procedures from day one. I would
spend the first few weeks making sure
my students fully understand
procedures and rules. Leading to
fewer classroom interruptions and
creating an understanding and
accepting learning environment.

12
How I’ll use the Fred Jones’ method in my
classroom.
I would use this method in my classroom by
focusing on classroom structure,
limit-setting, Say-See-Do Teaching,
responsibility training, and individual student
help. By using this method in class students
will not only have the support needed within
the class to be successful but will also have a
positive attitude towards class and learning
as a whole.
