Read Matthew 5: 14-16 and discuss how Filipinos could live up to these
challenges from Christ?
- With the current situation that we are going through right now,
everything seems different, new and hard for all of us. Neither of us
expected this to happen that’s why everyone is affected by the crisis that
we have and Filipinos are no excuse from that. Filipinos are known to be
one of the happiest people in the world. They are known to be positive
towards anything, even if there are problems they just smile their problems
away. Now, that we a new problem that we are facing Filipinos out their
trust in Christ. He is the light that guides us today. He is the lamp that show
hope that we Filipinos can get through this all. He is the light for the whole
wide world, no one can hide from him, so if we trust ourselves to him no
one will be left behind because he can see everything and everyone. In this
hard situation, he shine before people to us Filipinos the good things in the
future. When everything is over, those we believed will be led to a rightful
path through Christ our Lord.

2. Choose any career and write up your ideas in a short essay. What about a
Christian as a doctor?, as lawyer?, as a politician?, as a businessman?, as a
priest or nun?
- The career that I choose to tackle here is the Accountant, because I know
that would be my future someday. Growing in a Christian family, I have
implied a lot of things and beliefs which most Christians do. As a Christian
Accountant, I would be very honest with my work specially that my work
would be money related. They all say that money changes people, and I
don’t want that to happen. I want to instill one of the Christian traits which
is honesty. Through the guidance of my Christian culture, I hope that I can
be a better career-woman someday.
