1. Construct an ellipse using the 4 centre method , given the major axis 120mm and minor
axis 60mm ( 5 marks )

2. Draw a regular hexagon Across Flats A/F , given the diameter 100mm. Show all
constructions (5 marks )

3. Construct a tangent to a circle of radius of 20 from a point P (5 marks)

4. Construct triangle ABC given perimeter 120mm , base angle ABC = 30 degrees , base
angle ACB = 45 degrees (5 marks )

5. Draw the development of a cone cut by a horizontal plane 12mm from the apex . Cone
base diameter = 80mm , height of cone = 90mm (5 marks
6. Reproduce the diagram below in isometric projection. Dimensions are not necessary
(10 marks)
7. Draw the component below in oblique projection (5 marks )
8. Given in third angle projection are views below , convert the views to an isometric
drawing using proportion (10 marks)
9. Construct the spanner below showing all constructions for obtaining centers of circles
and arcs (10 marks )
10. The diagram below is to be translated to first angle orthographic projection (40 MARKS )
a) Draw the front section viewed from X
b) Produce the End view on the right side
c) Produce the sectioned Plan viewed on A-A
