Hi Rob,

it was great to hear from you. What a sunny day here in Rome! I love this city!
I live in an apartment with my parents in Trastevere and the view from my
bedroom window is breathtaking.Rome’s a very big and ancient city.Well it’s also
called “the Eternal City” because it’s more than 2800 years old! In fact, there are lots of
incredibles historical monuments to visit such as: “the mighty Colosseum”,the Spanish
Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Vatican...you can’t imagine my amazement at the
paintings in the Sistine Chapel!
The city centre’s full of fashion shops and there are lots of clubs for young
people.The climate’s gentle and delightful.Oh and the food’s delicious! …and the
restaurants offer typical Roman dishes.
Well there’s a lot of traffic but public transports or motorbikes are good ways to move
around.I really like riding on motorbike around the city with my dad! Anyway, this city
makes me feel cheerful and excited. I like so much wandering through the streets and
the parks, especially enjoying the sunset from the spectacular terrace of Villa Borghese.
What about you? If you can, come to see me ;)

Write back soon,

LOVE
Ricky.
