Code of ethics is a guide of principles to help professionals do their job honestly and
orderly with pure intention. It is a set of values and standards to follow by which action
can hold the social work profession accountable. Code of ethics organize understanding
between right and wrong in assisting member of the society. An ethical principle that
governs decisions and behavior at a company or organization. Also, it is designed to
remind the professionals the right thing to do and on how they are supposed to
approach problems in a professional way.

2. What are the voluntary and In-voluntary mechanisms of ethics and how does it apply in
the context of tourism?

Voluntary mechanisms of ethics are the action with an intention to produce it while
Involuntary mechanism are the action’s result that produced was not intended. In
addition, an action is involuntary when it is performed under compulsion and causes
pain to the person acting. There are borderline cases, as when someone is compelled to
do something dishonorable under threat, but we should generally consider such cases
voluntary, since the person is still in control of his or her actions. These two mechanisms
of ethics can be applied to the context of tourism since we provide services to people. It
will be a reminder to avoid participation in activities that contribute to or support
negative ethical issues. Even it is voluntary or involuntary act, be responsible to our
actions.
