Task 2.
Fill in table No. 1. *
Nerve Reflex spinal cord segments
Musculocutaneous Flexion ulnar C5-6
Radial Extensor ulnar C7-8
Femoral Knee L2-4
Tibial Achilles S1-2

Solve the situational problem. ***

Task 3.***
A 42-year-old man complains of weakness and restriction of movements in his
left hand. Examination revealed weakness in the left hand - 3 points, muscle
hypotension, decreased reflexes in the left hand, muscle hypotrophy and
fibrillar twitching in the muscles of the left hand, there are no sensory
disturbances.
1. What is the name of the identified motor impairment syndrome? Left-
sided monoplegia with Peripherial paresis
2. Where is the pathological focus most likely located? Pathological focus in
the spinal cord at the level of the cervical thickening of the C5-Th1-2

Task 4. ***
A man, 60 years old, suffering from hypertension, complains that after sleep
there was a weakness in the left limbs. Objectively: on the left, muscle strength
is reduced to 3-4 points, the tone is increased in spastic type, hyperreflexia,
pathological foot reflexes on the left, hemihypesthesia on the left and
hemianopsia on the left.

1. What syndrome is described? Left-sided hemiplegia with Central paralysi

2. Where is the pathological focus located? Central parуsis VII and XII

cranial nerves on the left

Task 5 ***
In a man, 60 years old, weakness and atrophy of the muscles of the upper
extremities, a decrease in tendon reflexes, muscle strength and fibrillar
twitching in the muscles of the hands. In the legs also weakness, but increasing
of tendon reflexes on the legs, pathological reflexes of Babinsky and
Oppenheim on
both sides.

1. What is the topical diagnosis? Combined tetraplegia

2. What is the name of the syndrome of motor disorders? Pathological focus in

the spinal cord at the level of the cervical thickening of the C5-Th2
segments:
