1. Summarize the duties of the Obligor in obligation to give. Provide examples.

Obligor is passive subject which mean he/she needs to fulfill an obligation. It is also
known as a debtor they have something to give or deliver towards another party or to the
Obligee. Obligor need to deliver it or give it on time, depends on what are their contract.

Examples of obligation to give are;

Tina sells a customized cake to Dona


- Tina will be the Obligor, her obligation is to give and deliver the customized cake to
Dona which is the Obligee. This is a contract of sale.
Dona will pay Tina's 1,500 for the customized cake
- Dona will be the Obligor she needs to pay or to give the money to Tina which is the
Obligee. This is a contract of sale.

Dem sells his xbox 360 to JR


- Dem is the Obligor, the obligation that he needs to fulfill is to give the xbox 360 to RJ
which is the Obligee. This is a contract of sale.
RJ will pay 5,500 to Dem for the xbox 360
- RJ will be the Obligor, he's obligation to be fulfilled is to give the money to Dem
which is the Obligee.

2. What are the rules in case an object is lost or damaged due to fortuitous event,
particularly as to the liability of the debtor in an obligation.  Give specific examples for
your answers.
