What'd you do this weekend?

I was at home all weekend with my family. I am very upset because it was the only free weekend when I
could go for a walk with a friend, but my mother made me do household chores. Sometimes they scold
me , calling me unreliable when I do not have time to do household chores, but actually I get tired just
like them after a hard day.

Oh, so do my parents. How can we make their understand us? We get tired after classes at university.
And we also want to watch TV and go to bed early.

I agree, I think parents should get on well with adolescents and don’t quarrel over trivial matters
.Otherwise, children will stop trusting them and won’t share their thoughts with them. Parents must
look up to teenagers and take theirs side.
I'm afraid I don't quite agree with that, I think parents should scold their naughty children, if he/she did
smth bad. The parents should demain for children doing domestic work, so children will know how to
clean the house and cook food. I said demain for because children always try to avoid having to do smth
if you just ask them.

You're right, I should talk to my parents, I hope they understand me and we are back to some common
ground.

Perhaps. I think we should communicate more with each other and then the children will see eye to eye
with their parents
