why pp experience culture shock, Stages of culture shock and practical applications of the research. First, the
speaker talked about the reason why people experience shock culture, when we get used to the familiar
environment, wedo not use uor culture to behave and understand new culture.Therefore, people often behave
irrationally when they are experience shock culture. Sencond, The speaker gave 3 stages of this experiences:
honey moon, let down and réignation. Honey moon is the time when you first arrive in a new culture. The
most reactions at this time are fascination and happiness. The sencond stage iss”let down”. You may feel
exhausted, lonely and nervouse because you have to unlearn their own culture habits.The final stage is called
resignation. This is the time you become adjust to the new enirionment, accept habit or value. Finally, the
