Happiness

“What is happiness?” Have you ever thought about it? It’s quite an important question, even a lot
of experts have spent their time looking for an answer or a formula. I asked a few people what
happiness was and how they would define it in just one word. For their answers I realized that
every single person has a different concept based on what makes them happy. Some of them
answered they would define happiness as family, others said soccer, love, peace and enjoyment.
Robert Waldinger said personal connection created mental and emotional simulation, which were
automatic mood boosters while isolation was a mood buster. Since I made questions like “What
make you happy?” or “What do you think is the most important thing in order to be happy?” and
I received answers like family and self-love, I could double check for myself what Harvard’s
study meant about the secret of happiness.
In conclusion, there’s not a formula for being happy, and happiness is more than an emotion or
moment, it’s the reflection of our life and relationships. The most important thing is to have good
people around us, who build us up and help us to be better.
