As I wake up in a gloomy morning

The thoughts in my head are spinning
I sat on the corner of my room
Where it makes me feel imprisoned
Drank a cup of brewed coffee,
The taste of bitterness
Reminds me of the past I don't want to experience again

The negativity of my mind eased

As I saw my dog wagging its tail
I opened my computer and the light kissed my face
Listened to my teacher and jotted down notes
Through the computer screen,
Faces that I miss seeing on weekdays during face to face class
This new normal makes you realize that if you don't cherish
every moment of your life
You'll regret it for the rest of your life
