Describe the scene from your window during the lockdown caused by Covid 19

pandemic. State what you saw and heard and what were your feelings about the
pandemic.

As the new novel coronavirus slowly inches its way across the world, affecting
millions, there were lockdown in place in various countries all over the world to
fight the virus. This was really a depressing time for many of us, there was no one
on the roads and parks were also empty. The period of Covid 19 gave a glimpse of
an era which none of us had experienced.

I live in the marketplace and I always see a hustle bustle on roads from the
window, but on the first day of lockdown when I opened the window, I was
stunned to see a whole new world. A clear and deserted road with no with no
sound was a new routine for everyone in the house to see out from window. Few
people belonging to essential services such as medicines and food supply were
moving out and that too with face shields and masks. Frontline workers were on
the hard duty, such as policemen were checking people for their duty passes.
Migrant labourers with their families and bags were migrating back to their native
places, as they were not having their jobs anymore and the survival was becoming
difficult for them. It seemed that the whole world has come to a standstill. On the
positive note, I could see a whole new range of colorful birds and their melodious
sounds. Most of the people were stuck in their homes, some of them were not
having jobs and some were not having food to eat.

As a time pass in the comfort of my house, I realized certain things which I had
never thought before. Blessed are the people who have all the neccessities in life.
Most importantly, nature is more powerful than anything else and human beings
are trustees of God’s gifts.
