INTRO TO THE TOPIC: The topic we’ve chosen for research purposes is Effect of
leadership style on employees motivation and job commitment

The reason we’ve chosen this topic is that to highlight the importance of leadership in business
leader is the individual, who navigate these group of people to keep them motivated through
ups and downs, and guide them to achieve greater heights. Without the proper leadership
employees don't work along well and they get disagreement between them so they need
someone to sort the conflicts and guide them and make unity amongst the group.

Another reason to select this topic is that mostly at workplaces there are a lot of factors that
influence employees motivation such as bullying and biasness to some employees of leaders
and due to these problems the leaders develop styles to have a clear communication between
leader and employees.

Another reason to choose this topic is because Leadership plays a key role in the organization.
Leadership listens, inspires, motivates, and gives a direction, a common goal to aspire to’’.
Leadership, especially entrepreneurial leadership, is increasingly in demand as weighty, global
issues require entrepreneurial leaders to seek creative solutions and harness the power of
people to reach those common goals.

During this time of pandemic and Covid-19, we realize that the need of effective leadership
style matters now more than ever before. With much work around the globe switched to
online, leaders must adapt traits and qualities to overcome the challenges brought on board my
online working and lack of physical interaction. Moreover, the online transition and current
global situation has caused many to lose motivation, determination, sight of goal, importance
of their work and passion. All these can effect the economies and social condition just as much
as the pandemic. This is why we decided to re-explore this topic in the light of online working
and global pandemic.
