TITTLE: Manto’s writings exposed society’s hypocrisy.

A victim of society’s contradictions, Manto, questioned the hypocritical
attitude of so called purists who claimed ethically questionable themes
in his works. However, he continued exposing the vulgar reality. Manto
disclosed the double standards in human behavior in an unbiased and
non-vulgar manner.
Manto believes the man is a mix of good and evil. His writings dealt
with the social and moral issues of the marginalized classes of society.
Hence, this gained him laudable popularity among his followers. His
writing style mirrored the restiveness of people.
