An Aashiq e Rasools Journey unto The Hereafter

The weather was showing signs of emotion and sorrow since the evening. The dark black and
red mountainous clouds in the sky also announcing the sorrowful news. Here, as soon as the
sun and its shining rays disappeared from our sight, the shining sun of knowledge also began
to make its preparations to leave us.
The command of Allah Almighty that "every nafs shall taste death" was about to be acted
upon by another beloved of Allah Almighty, as if the Angel of death had been instructed that
a beloved, pure with a freshly made wudu, steeped in love for the Most Beloved Sall Allahu
Alaihi Wasallam, desperately awaiting the blessed vision of The Most Beautiful Sall Allahu
Alaihi Wasallam, awaits the command of the Almighty. As soon as the Angel was granted
permission you proclaimed "Allah hu Akbar", and departed for the hereafter.

The shining sun of knowledge who spread his rays of light for an age, left the world dark and
without support. It was exactly 12 minutes past 7 in the evening when this kaamil wali of
Allah Almighty closed his beautiful illuminating eyes for the final time.
The night of the 20th of July felt like a mountain of grief had befallen the Ahlus Sunnah, every
eye was flowing tears, every heart was bleeding, such grief that the clouds in the sky also
began to shed its tears. Followers crying, devotees sobbing, mureedeen weeping, all of us
grieving.

The flag bearer of Shariah has left us!

The protector of Maslak e Alahadrat has left us!
Who do the Ummah of the Beloved Prophet turn to no?
Who is there now who can give solace to the hearts of the masses?
Who can we turn to now for comfort?
Who do the people turn to now?
Who do the people look towards for their decisions?

As soon as the heart breaking news of the passing spread, a strange state overtook us all.
Grief, sorrow, a numbness feeling, unexplainable. As if time was standing still.
From all corners, people flocked towards Bareilly Shareef, we also set off towards Bareilly
Shareef along with Huzoor Muhadith e Kabeer, to make one last vision of our Beloved. Our 4
car convoy reached Bareilly Shareef before the time for Fajr.

Zyarah was being made continuously since Friday night, a huge ocean of followers wanting
to make one last zyarah of Huzoor Taajush Shariah. The non-stop rain could not even
dampen the efforts of this huge ocean of devotees. Thousands came, wave after wave, row
after row, to be blessed with one final glimpse, entering from one side and departing from
the other. Many just having to make do with a glimpse from the windows due to the sheer
amount of public. Hundreds waited patiently for hours in flood water.

After making zyarah it was a common discussion amongst those present that the rose like
blessed face of Huzoor Taajush Shariah was glowing, the feeling that at any moment now
Hadrat would open his beautiful eyes and say something.
Huzoor Muhadith e Kabeer also immediately presented himself for zyarah at the blessed
residence. After making zyarah Huzoor Muhadith e Kabeer commented, "It is as though the
the blessed face of Huzoor Taajush shariah is emanating rays of light and showers of Noor
are beaming from his blessed face. There are no signs of illness upon the face whatsoever,
Huzoor appears so beautiful, as if he never been ill at all".
This practice of zyarah continued with some breaks until Sunday, when preparation was
made for the ghusl at 4.45 after Fajr on the same day.
The following are those who were given permission to perform the ghusl by the wife of
Huzoor Taajush shariah: Huzoor Muhadith e Kabeer Allaama Mufti Zia al Mustafa,
Jaanasheen e Huzoor Taajush shariah Allaama Asjad Raza Qibla, Shahzaadah Ameen e
Shariat Hadrat Allaama Salmaan Raza Khan, Hadrat Allaama Mansur Raza Khan,
Hadrat Allama Aashiq Hussain Kashmiri sahib. Engineer Burhan mian and Syed Kaifi sahib
and a few others were also present.

Huzoor Muhadith e Kabeer nominated his Jaanasheen Huzoor Allaama Mufti Jamaal al
Mustafa sahib Qibla as his replacement, whilst stating he would not be able to bear seeing
Hadrat in this condition.

At around 7.30 with flowing tearful eyes and a bleeding heavy heart, the rest of the family
members made their final zyarah.
A sudden cry erupted at 8.20 and the sound of weeping grew louder, whilst the blessed body
was lifted onto the shoulders. The women of the family and household members left feeling
orphaned as their beloved was being taken away for the final time.

A crowd of thousands followed the janazah, the source of light for the ulema and the masses
had gone out for the naked eye, but the beneficiaries of this shining light were in full flow
around the sun. This everest of knowledge made its way on the shoulders, past Azhari guest
house towards the main gate, from here the blessed body was transported by car to Inter
Islamia college. Huzoor Asjad Mian, Allama Salmaan Raza, Allaama Aashiq Hussain,
Salmaan Hassan sahib and Hussaam Mian were surrounding the janazah and thousands
upon thousands of devotees followed towards the final resting place.

The appointed time for the janazah was set for 10 o'clock, the huge ground of the Inter Islamia
College was selected for the janazah salah. The whole of Bareilly Shareef was packed with
devotees, not an inch to spare, Inter college road, the side roads, the side streets and even the
rooftops of the houses were completely full.
It is said the rows continued for many kilometres. Due to the Hundreds of thousands in
attendance the janazah vehicle had to be stopped outside the college, where it was decided
that the salah would be performed here rather than inside. This was due to the sheer amount
of people occupying all the surrounding areas.
At 10.50 Jaanasheen Huzoor Taajush shariah Allaama Asjad Mian Qibla led the janazah
salah and thousands performed the salah without a microphone.
How many were in attendance? How many performed the janazah salah?
These are extremely difficult questions to answer, but to answer those who are losing sleep
over this many or that many and discussing it uselessly, I present the answer from Huzoor
Najib Mian:
"Some people say only one hundred thousand attended, some say one hundred and fifty
thousand, array Mian!!! Hundred or a hundred and fifty thousand is just the number of
Hasideen who were present".

The difficult decision of the place of burial arose after the janazah. Azhari guest house was
chosen to be the place of burial, due to it being close to the blessed mazaar of Alahadrat
Azeemul Barakat Radi Allahu Anhu, and also it was the will and wish of Huzoor Taajush
Shariah to be buried close to a Wali of Allah Almighty. The burial was thus carried out in
accordance to the wishes of Huzoor Taajush Shariah.
The blessed body was brought around 12 o'clock and the burial began around 12.30. Allaama
Asjad Raza qibla, Allaama Salmaan Raza, engineer Burhan Mian went down into the grave,
Allaama Aashiq Hussain sahib, Mowlana Salmaan Hassan sahib and a few others lowered
the blessed body in to the grave.

This is how a true Aashiq of the Most Beautiful Sall Allahu Alaihi Wasallam, an ocean and
Everest of knowledge, the flag bearer of Shariah and protector of Maslak e Alahadrat Radi
Allahu Anhu left the Ahlus Sunnah and travelled from this physical world unto the final
abode.

This is An Aashiq e Rasools journey unto the hereafter.
