One type of long-term hormonal contraception is implanted contraception. Ttrefers to a long-term contraceptive that contains hormones. When a woman of child-bearing age decides to use contraception and hopes that there will be no more problems with pregnancy. However, the side effect is a change in body weight. This study aimed to explore the implantable contraception’ effect on the weight of women of child-bearing age. It relied on the descriptive narrative design with a literature review approach. Further, the articles searching started on April 3, 2020 in the Google Scholar database. Those articles were selected with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Moreover, the research subjects were women of childbearing age of productive age between 20 to 40 years who used implantable contraception with impaired side effects of weight gain. Based on the results of a literature review analysis using seven literatures, it came to an understanding that implantable contraceptive acceptors can influence weight changes. Weight gain in the use of implantable contraceptive acceptors on average occurs after more than one year of use. Penelusuran artikel dimulai dari tanggal 03 April 2020 pada database google scholar. Artikel dipilih dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi, Subjek penelitian adalah wanita usia subur berumur produktif antara 20 sampai dengan 40 tahun yang menggunakan kontrasepsi implant dengan gangguan efek samping kenaikan berat badan, Hasil analisis literature review menggunakan tujuh literature dapat ditarik satu pemahaman bahwa akseptor kontrasepsi implant dapat_ mempengaruhi perubahan berat badan. Peningkatan berat badan pada penggunaan akseptor Kontrasepsi implant rata-rata terjadi setelah lebih dari satu tahun pemakaian Kesimpulannya terdapat perbedaan berat badan sebelum dan sesudah Penggunaan kontrasepsi implant selam satu tahun, adanya hubungan lama enggunaan Kontrasepsi implant terhadap berat badan, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pemakaian alat kontrasepsi implant dengan kenikan berat badan serta Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna rerata indeks masa tubuh akseptor implant lebih tinggi dari pada rerata IMT akseptor suntik DMPA dan suntik estradiol sipionat Kata Kunci : Kontrasepsi Implant, Berat Badan, Wanita Usia Subur xi
