28 Fundamental Beliefs Project

Video Project

(PAU) Intro:
Welcome to the Seventh-day Adventist family!
You are now part of more than 20 million believers who are united in mission, purpose, and belief. As a worldwide
movement, we are present in 212 countries, we support more than 9,489 schools and universities with over 2
million students, we operate 227 hospitals, and have established 60 publishing houses. We believe in the 28
fundamental beliefs founded in the Holy Scripture, and we actively proclaim the gospel message to all the world
to prepare people for the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Allow us to share with you the fundamental beliefs of the Adventist church about God, humanity, salvation,
church, daily living, and restoration. The following describes what the Seventh-day Adventist Church believes
about God and His Word.

Holy Scripture
The Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration.

The inspired authors spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. In this Word, God has committed to
humanity the knowledge necessary for salvation.

The Holy Scriptures are the supreme, authoritative, and the infallible revelation of His will. They are the standard
of character, the test of experience, the definitive revealer of doctrines, and the trustworthy record of God’s acts
in history.

Extro:
As Seventh-day Adventists we accept the Bible as the only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the
teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth in these videos, constitute the church’s understanding
and expression of the teaching of Scripture.

Join us in this series. Let us walk together in this journey in discovering who God is and His plan of redemption
for all of us.
