Etam Developpement SCA (Etam) is an apparel and accessories retailer based in France. The company
principally designs and sells ready-to-wear clothes, lingerie and accessories under Etam, 1.2.3 and Undiz
brands through wide network of stores in 52 countries. Each of the company’s brands designs its own
collections and uses a global network of subcontractors and textile manufacturers.
The Etam brand offers ready-to-wear clothing, lingerie and women’s accessories. Its ready-to-wear
collection includes basic, city wear, weekend wear and casual chic which include during the week and at
the weekend wear. Its lingerie collection includes nightwear, home wear, maternity, daywear, swimwear
and accessories. Since its launch in 2000, the company’s e-store, www.Etam.com, has been one of the
largest French textile websites with more than three million unique connections per month.
The 1.2.3 brand established in 1983, principally offers a wide range of ready-to-wear clothing and women
accessories. Its collection includes city living, formal wear and casual wear. The 1.2.3 branded store are
operated under mixed ownership model and maintains an e-store, www.1-2-3.fr.
The Undiz brand includes lingerie for both men and women, which targets 15-25 year olds. It also offers a
mini-collection of underwear basics for men. Using mix and match approach, Undiz is involved in offering
22 collections a year. Since its establishment in 2007, it recorded an excellent commercial performance,
confirming its position as a genuine brand.
As of December 2016, the company operated 3,906 sales outlets comprising 749 stores in France, 239
stores in Europe excluding France, 2,596 in China. It also operated 322 international franchises and Etam
ready-to-wear stores in Belgium, Italy and India. Geographically, the company’s operations span across
France, China, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland and Italy.
Etam categorizes its business operations into three geographic regions: France, China and other
countries. In FY2016, France accounted for 58% of the company’s total revenue, followed by China

HISTORY
Etam Developpement SCA was established.
The company was listed on the Paris Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ‘TAM’.
The company planned to open new stores in the Middle East (Dubai, Oman and Abu Dhabi) under the
brands Etam and 1.2.3.
Etam repurchased 2,835,916 own shares of the maximum number of shares authorized to be
repurchased, equal to 2,857,142 shares.
The company opened Undiz branded 12,000 sq. m. warehouse in Longueuil, for handling merchandise
flows to stores and for the website.
The company opened nine new stores in Europe and 20 stores outside Europe.
The company launched E-commerce version of mobile website besides launching 80 sites in 18
countries.
The company introduced innovative ranges and products in footwear, underwear, and lingerie innovation
category.
The company opened 89 new stores of which 39 stores under Etam brand, 26 under Undiz brand and 24
