BREATHE BRICK

ABSTRACT

Air has been source for our living planet to breathe. But when the air is being polluted if affects
larger proportion of our living system. Filtration of the breathing Air has become important for the
comfort and safety of the people inside the building. By the effective utilisation of technical
knowledge the pollution can be prevented in greater extent. In recent year though, designers have
started to using some techniques that actually remove pollutants from the air through some
technologies. Buildings can take more active role in pulling the pollutants from the sky. This was
exactly the inspiration behind the “BREATHE BRICK” technology. Breathe Bricks are introduced to
the exterior wall of the building. The concept behind the innovative material is cyclone separation.
Cyclone separation is the technique which separates solid particles from gases, hence air will more
healthier to breathe. This is a perfect material for green building also they would ensure a better
quality of life for the residents of the built structure.
