Technological advancement creates a negative impact to every users. By means of

communication and other benefits of mobile phones, we were able to link a connection throughout the
world. However, these benefits were not used in a rightful manner, especially here in the Philippines.
Although our country is not so much advance when it comes to technology, a lot of people are still
patronizing the use of mobile phones, including all ages in different part of the country. Thus, it makes
thousands of Filipinos’ brains to stop functioning. Being dependent on their gadgets leads them to
create a small world that seems hard for them to escape. Examples are being addicted to mobile or
online games, school works being copy paste, using e- readers than going in a library, and so much
more. Also, going with the trend is not that bad, but sometimes going along with the different trends
brings us to walk into a more risky path. Indeed, wrongful usage of gadgets can be manipulative.

Having mobile phones is a great way to provide connection, and all things became one click
away. But this also becomes a problem when it became a habit. In order to avoid this, proper usage of
mobile phones is needed. Every users should be aware that limitations in all things is a must. Being in a
phone 24/7 is not a healthy habit. Hence, managing time effectively in each day can make a person
productive rather than being brainless.

As economy grows, the word suffers. There is always a loop-side in economic growth. Yes, every
country strives to make an increase in economy because more demand will be offered and lots of citizen
will have an opportunity to find a job. But on the other side, our mother earth became at risk. Here in
the Philippines, this situation is clearly seen. Lots of natural resources and agricultural sites were
destroyed just to create a commercial or industrial site. Moreover, as industrial sites increases, so as the
pollution it creates. The more money we gained as a country, the more pain it brings to our
environment.

A balance economy is what we need. We progress, and our environment is not at risk. In aiming
to achieve this, we need better leaders that is concerned with the welfare of the whole country and not
just of her/himself only. Aside from that, we should also be a concern citizen that has love and care for
our environment. Let us be united in promoting a healthy environment and take an action to heal our
mother land.

Globalization also equates inequality. Many people with power and authority thrives over the
expense and efforts of others. And it is definitely a shame to be fatly rich because of the sweat of others.
Greedy people is everywhere, in politics, in industries, and even just in local communities. When you
have the money, you also have the power. This thing is not new to our country, many common Filipinos
suffer because of inequality and unjustness. Superior people makes common people slaves, and these
people’s hard work pay them off. Indeed, globalization is also where selfishness and greediness exist.
 One thing we should do to address this problem, is to be a wise Filipino. We are the ones
capable of electing leaders in our country, thus, we also have the power to choose the right person to be
in the position. Let us have a high standard in giving our votes. Also, we must be strong enough to fight
for our rights. There are so many platforms today that is widely used to advocate, give comments, and
speak for the rights of every Filipino. To fight inequality, we must be wise and unfold our bravery.
