Part 1: Intensive Reading (40%)
- Read and answer 10 questions for one passage.
Part 2: Summarizing (60%)
- Read and summarize 5 paragraphs/ sections in a passage and
summarize that passage.
LISTENING
Time 60 minutes
Structure Students will:
Part 1: Listening Note-taking (60%)
- Listen to a lecture/a speech and write an outline.
- Summarize the lecture/speech based on their own outline.
Part 2: Listening Monologues (40%)
- Read and answer 10 questions for one monologue.
WRITING
Time 60 minutes
Structure Students will:
Part 1: Letter writing (40%)
- Write a 150-word letter to respond to a given task.
Part 2: Essay writing (60%)
- Write a 250-word essay to respond to a given topic.
