What would I leave for the next

generations ?
There are many reasons why people visit museums. Some want to learn
about the past, while others are curios about the country or just want to
see something new. By visiting museums, we gain knowledge. Every
object that is kept in a museum has a story to tell.
If I had the opportunity to preserve something in a museum , I would put
several books, so the future generations won’t forget what a book is and
remember that they can teach you something new anywhere, anytime. I
refuse to imagine how life would be without books, because they are the
foundation of our knowledge and vocabulary, they keep us entertained
and also widen our perspective.
Another thing that I would like to hold in a museum for a future
exhibition would be a newspaper. If the current generation has never read
a newspaper, then there is a big probability that the next generation
won’t even know what a newspaper is, and what is is used for. They
would see it as an prehistorical object.
The last but not the least thing I would add in my list is an album, that
contains photos of Moldova, so they would see how beautiful our
country is, of course it has a lot of negative parts, but it has plenty of
nature reserves that are worth visiting.
The last thing that I would like to preserve in a museum is a mask with a
short story about coronavirus, so the upcoming generation won’t forget
that courage is seeing hope in darkness.
To summarize the above, as Lyndon B. Johnson said :”If future
generations are to remember us more with gratitude than sorrow, we
must achieve more than just the miracles of technology. We must also
leave them a glimpse of the world as it was created, not just ast it looked
when we got through with it”.
