The Government of India has modified the travel guidelines for the
foreigners arriving in India on account of Covid-19 pandemic. It applies to all the
foreigners including visa seekers from Indonesia intending to visit India:

i. People with 14 days’ of travel history to Indonesia are barred from


direct entry with immediate effect;
ii. Entry is allowed only with 14 days’ stay/quarantine in third country
with RT-PCR test (within 72 hours prior to entry in India);
iii. Further, 8 days’ institutional quarantine is mandatory on arrival in
India;
iv. An undertaking is required from ordinary passport holders, for abiding
with all health related protocols in India;
v. In case of diplomatic/official passport holders, visa application should
accompany with diplomatic note providing information of departure and
undertaking for abiding with all health related protocols in India;
vi. Mandatory hotel booking for quarantine in India;
vii. Hotel should be booked for a period of 8 x 24 hours;
viii. Mandatory complete travel itinerary including stay in a third country
for a period of 14 days, and onward travel to India;
ix. Production of Covid-19 vaccination certificate is mandatory upon
arrival in India.
