VODAFONE 3G TARIFF PLANS

Vodafone 3G is here .By now you all must have seen the Vodafone’s ZooZoo ambassador doing
the Superman/Rajnikant acts in the Vodafone 3G advertisements .Upload pictures , videos ,
share files and much more with high speed 3G Internet right in your mobile phone .

The Vodafone 3G plans starts from Rs.100 monthly rental with 100MB Free Data usage .Compared
to other private telecom operators (sp. Airtel) , the Vodafone 3G Plans are less complex but also
less flexible as compared to Airtel 3G timebased , volume based , and Flexishield 3G plans .Also
Vodafone has less coverage area (3G license) compared to other operators (Airtel,Aircel,Reliance)
and it covers mainly the four metro cities .Airtel covers almost all four corners of India with 13
states 3G license (similar to Aircel and Reliance ) whereas Vodafone has 3G license in 9 states .

Vodafone 3G Postpaid Tariff Plans :

• Rs.100 per month – 100MB Monthly Free Data usage

• Rs.375 per month – 500MB Monthly Free Data usage
• Rs.850 per month – 3GB Monthly Free Data usage
• Rs 1,250 per month – 5GB Monthly Free Data usage

Vodafone 3G Postpaid – Mobile Broadband Plans

• Rs.650 monthly rental – 1GB Free data usage

• Rs.850 monthly rental – 3GB Free data usage
• Rs.1,250 monthly rental – 5GB Free data usage
• Six Months Advanced Rental Plans – In this plan you have to pay charges of five months
and you will get service for six months .
o Rs.3,250 – 1 GB per month for 6 months (saves Rs.650 )
o Rs.4,250 – 3GB per month for 6 months (saves Rs.850)
o Rs.6,250 – 5GB per month for 6 months (saves Rs.1,250)

Vodafone 3G Prepaid Tariff Plans are similar to the postpaid plans. In one you have monthly
rental and in other recharge vouchers. Vodafone is currently running the 3G trials in some
cities at the Vodafone 3G experience zones .It will launch its 3G commercially in this month
(March 2011) .

AIRCEL 3G TARIFF – AIRCEL 3G PLANS

After long wait the private telecom operators are rolling out their 3G services in their respective
3G license areas .TATA Docomo was the first private operator to launch 3G services in India. Aircel
has also launched their 3G services in some test areas, currently in trial mode.

With 3G on Aircel, you can enjoy video calling, music and video streaming, high data transfers and
super fast Internet browsing on your 3G mobile phone.

Aircel 3G Tariff Plans:

The Voice and SMS service charges on Aircel 3G network are same as that on its 2G network .That
is the SMS and call charges are same in 3G and 2G network .Also these two services has no impact
or change (speed/quality) due to the 3G network .

The chargeable services in Aircel 3G are: Video calling and data transfer.

Aircel 3G Video calling charges: 5 paisa per second or Rs.3 per minute

The Data only Aircel 3G Plan is 100MB for Rs.92/month.

The Aircel 3G base data rate is 3 paise/10KB .This is the cheapest data rate among all the private
operator as others have 10 paise per 10KB as base data rate . The public sector telecom operators
still have the cheapest rates with BSNL charging 2p/10KB and MTNL charging 1p/10KB.

Aircel has currently launched free trial offer on its 3G services at selected places.
