A circular economy is an alternative to a traditional economy (fabrication, use and dispose) in which we

keep resources in a loop for as much time as possible, try to maintain their value while in use, and
repurpose for generation of new products at the end of utilization.

A circular economy for textiles, fashion, and apparel is important because it aims to eliminate waste in the
textiles industry, championing resource reuse and bringing clear benefits for natural resources, economic
well being, and the health and safety of the people who produce and dispose of our textiles.

Circular systems employ reuse, sharing, repair, refurbishment, remanufacturing and recycling to create a close-
loop system, minimizing the use of resource inputs and the creation of waste, pollution and carbon emissions.
1. ENVIRONMENT

The first advantage of a circular economy is the protection of the environment, reducing waste and the
emissions of greenhouse gases and systematizing recycling The circular economy also allows to decrease the
dependence on importation of resources (raw materials, water, energy).

2. ECONOMIC

Another huge benefit of the circular economy is that it stimulates innovation and boost economic growth, and it
could in the long run enhance the completion between national companies.

3. SOCIAL

In addition, the circular economy creates jobs and enables people to save money, cutting unemployment and
poverty as well as reducing the social impacts of pollution and climate change.
THERE ARE SOME LIMITATINS OF CIRCULAR ECONOMY
1. Institutional

Rules and regulations need to be adapted to encourage and promote the development of the circular
economy, both nationally and internationally. In fact, strengthening local governmental policies to support
its implementation, as well as bringing clear legislation is the key to promote the transition towards circular
economy business models.

2. Economic

Business transformation is costly. Therefore, financial incentives are essential to achieve circular economy.
Lowering VAT on recycled products and increasing tax on virgin raw materials are examples of solutions
that could be adopted to accelerate the uptake of circular economy initiatives.

Now Ill speak how this solution is connected to circular economy

 We know that the main idea of circular economy is that nothing should go to waste and Everything
is either recycled reused or repurposed and all the resources should be kept in a loop for as much
time as possible
 Through our solution we are acting acts as an intermediary between garment factories, recyclers in
order to close the loop of consumption in the textile industry. The waste generated from one
company in the form of extra and unused trims and fabrics which the vendors or the suppliers
refuse to take back will act as the raw material for another small scale industries , recyclers or
boutiques.
 Like this we trying to stop the waste from ending into landfill. And providing a better solution for
waste management.
 This service will also provide transparency because in industries the leftover trims and fabrics they
sold to the ragpickers and we don’t know whether this waste is being recycled or reused, whereas
in this service one can see that their waste is being ultilitised as raw material by other industries.
