REQUEST FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF
GENERAL CONTRACTOR
ESTABLISHMENT OF UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED ENGINEERING
AND EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES (UAEET) SAMBRIAL,
SIALKOT
1. The ‘Infrastructure Development Authority Punjab’ (IDAP) has been established
as an Autonomous body under the Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab
Act, 2016 by the Government of Punjab for planning, designing, construction and
maintenance of Infrastructure in Punjab in line with best international practices to
cope with future development needs of the Punjab.
2. Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab, IDAP (Employer) intends to pre-
qualify general contractors for “ESTABLISHMENT OF UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED
ENGINEERING AND EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES (UAEET) SAMBRIAL, SIALKOT” with an
estimated cost: PKR 4300 million Approx.
3. The scope of work to be performed consists of construction of buildings and
infrastructure which includes Civil, Architectural, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical
works, and for execution of these works deployment of all necessary Material, Labor
(s), Formwork, Tools & Machinery. The general scope of work is as hereunder:

Total Covered Area 375,582 Sft (Approx.)
4. Pre-qualification is open to all Contractors/Joint venture of Contractors who are
registered in category “C-A” with Pakistan Engineering Council, (In case of JV, C-A
for lead member and C-B and above for JV member) detailed requirements are
provided in pre-qualification documents.
5. Interested applicants may inspect the PQ notice on the Punjab Procurement
Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Website http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk and on the
Infrastructure Development Authority Punjab (IDAP) website http://idap.pk
6. This Procurement shall be conducted through E-Procurement Portal of IDAP. For
purpose of issuance of Pre-qualification Document, applicant shall submit request for
accessing E-procurement portal of IDAP at procurement@idap.pk with below
mentioned credentials. Applicant shall access/obtain Pre-Qualification Document by
using the link provided at given Email address.

• Mobile No and Mailing Address of Focal Person
• Authority Letter from Directors/CEO
7. The PQ Proposal prepared in accordance with the instructions in Pre-Qualification
document and E-Procurement Portal, must be submitted on E-Procurement Portal on
or before 1st November 2021, no later than 02:30 PM PST. Pre-Qualification Proposal
will be opened on E-Procurement Portal on same day at 03:00 PM PST.
