Oil Base Mud Lab – 2

1. Dubai lab Tech. Staff will mix +/- 20 liters oil base mud and run a complete
mud check.
2. Dubai lab Tech. Staff will contaminate the previously prepared oil base
mud.
3. Students will be given a contaminated mud sample and the original mud
properties. This will be given by Dubai lab Tech. Staff.
4. Students will run a complete mud check. Identify the contaminant and
suggest the treatment.
5. The results should be turned in neat and complete with the names of each
Group on it. This is a part of your evaluation.
