● CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT AND GRAPHIC PROCESSING UNIT

--DEFINITION, COMPARISON AND ILLUSTRATION

--DEFINITION OF CPU AND GPU

♡ CPU is Generalized computing unit it does whatever commands are
sent to it and can receive commands for pretty much anything
>is called the brains of a computer while a GPU acts as a specialized
microprocessor.

♡ GPU is a Graphic computing unit it's job is to determine location of pixels,

colors for the pixels, and when to change those, it receives commands for graphics
math mostly and can be told where to send that data.
>There is the APU or in intel their i3-i7 with integrated video. It actually has some
GPU cores.

--COMPARISON OF CPU AND GPU

♡ The CPU is less than GPU speed, good handling multiple tasks but GPU is
faster than CPU speed, Can handle a few specific tasks very fast, GPU programmable
processor designed to quickly render high resolution images and video.

--ILLUSTRATION THE CPU AND GPU

♡ CPU is the primary component of a computer that processes instructions. It
runs the operating system and applications, constantly receiving input from the usrr or
active software programs. It processes the data and produces output, which may stored
by am application or displayed on the screen.
♡ GPU is a specialized electronic circuit designed to rapidly manipulate and alter
memory to accelerate the creation of images in a frame buffer intended for output to a
display device.

● CAUSE AND EFFECT OF COMPUTER ADDICTION

♡ Computer addiction can have a variety of negative effects on a person. The
most immediateare social. The uset withdraws from friends and family as he spends
more and more time on the computer. Relationships begin to wither as the user stops
attending social gatherings, skips meetings with friends and avoid family members to
get more computer time. Even whem they do. Interact with their friends, users may
become irritable when away from the computer, causing further social harm.

● SEMANTIC HISTORY OF THE INVENTION OF THE PC

♡ These innovation made it cheaper and easier to manufacture computers than
ever before. As a result, the small, relatively inexpensive "microcomputer" soon known
as the "personal computer" -- was born. In1974, for instance, a company called micro
instrumentation and telemetry systems (MITS) introduced a mail order build it yourself
computer kit called altair. Compared to earlier microcomputers, the altair was a huge
success :thousands of people bought the $400 kit. However, it really did not do much, it
had no keyboard and no screen, and its output was just a bank of flashing lights. Users
input data by flipping toggle switches.

In 1975,MITS hired a pairof harvard students named Paul G. Allen and Bill Gates to
adapt the BASIC Programming language for the altair. The software made the computer
easier to use, and itwas a hit. In April 1975 the two young programmers took the money
they made "ALTAIR BASIC" and formed a company of their own MICROSOFT.
