A strange experience

A few weeks ago, me and my family went on a visit to one of our aunt s house at
village. We relaxed with the natural beauty of that village and we decided to stay there for a
weekend. The house was so spacious and every one of us had a single room to stay.
One night, we decided to go for a walk along the river wich crosses the village. We
saw many children playing, people walking and the sound of the nature relaxed us. We
stopped on the dack of the river to admire the landscape and we started to hear many strange
sounds from the water. Initial, we had fun and we made jokes, but we saw that something like
a shadow came out of the river. All the people and children around us ran away and in a few
seconds we noticed that we were left alone. The wind was blowing hard and the sounds were
heard louder and louder and we were very scared. We decided to go home, but when we turn
our backs on the river, something like a very feminine strong voice told us ”Don t panic, am
not a ghost”. At that moment, we all ran away.
When we arrived at home, we called our aunt who told us that a legend says that the
river and the village is haunted by the ghost of a young woman who died many years ago
drowned. So, we decided to pack our luggages and return home to the city and never go back
in that strange place.
What a strange experience!
