Toye ore a7 R-AK | oY) 331 KB Dear Braintree Administration | am writing to inform you of my resignation as a teacher from the Braintree Public Schools. | want to thank the Administration for the opportunity to serve the students of Braintree off and on through the past 10 years, it's been an honor and a privilege. | will always view those times with students and colleagues as some of the best of my life. Unfortunately as the times change and situations evolve | can no longer be true to myself while serving the role as a Braintree Public School Teacher. Putting blame on other people is what weak men do and | will take responsibility for not being able to perform the duties required of me, no matter what my reasoning is. Since | was 18 I've lived in seven different states or countries and have had the privilege of seeing the world, but Braintree will always be home. My military experience as an Intelligenc Analyst has given me a unique perspective on what is currently going on in both our country and our town and | fear we are heading on a real collision course. | feel need to make my voice heard in the town of Braintree but in doing so will have unintended side effects which will be completely unfair to my students. And if you ask anyone who knows me best all I have ever cared about was helping the youth of Braintree. But if we don't a y . . together and fix things then it won't matter in the long run.
