Video: Talking about your last birthday celebration

.
In this activity you are going to:

1. Watch a video that explains how to talk about your last birthday celebration.
2. Write 10 sentences about the things that happened in your last birthday celebration. Describe the
most important things about that event: where it happened, what you ate, who attended, how people
felt about it, relevant information you want to say.
3. Write a script describing your last celebration. That script is what you are going to say in the video.
4. Record a short video (minimum 60 - maximum 70 seconds) describing your last birthday
celebration.
5. Send only the video. DON’T send the script.

2. Things you want to talk about your last birthday celebration:

3. Choose or organize the place you are going to use to talk about your last birthday.
4. Organize your ideas to write the script for the video. You can talk about all of them or choose some.
Remember you can use images as support.
5. To record your video, you can use your cell phone, a computer, or a camera. Please, check that the
video you have can be played in a computer; sometimes, videos recorded in a cell phone cannot.
6. Upload the video to CANVAS.

Tips for good video and audio quality:

- Record in a quiet place.

- Speak clearly.
- Use your hands-free device when recording.
- You need to appear on the video
- Don’t read!
- To record your video, you can use your cell phone, a computer, or a camera. Please check that the video
you have can be played in a computer; try to use wma. or mp4 format.

Important conditions
 At the beginning of the video, greet and introduce yourself (name, age and city). Remember that
YOU must be talking to the camera. You can use visual aids, but I want to see your face while
you talk.
 Remember to use the vocabulary you learned throughout the course or vocabulary you are
familiar with.
 Pronunciation is very important; I need to understand and hear what you are saying.
 Check the volume of your recording and make sure there is no noise around.
 The length of the video must be minimum 60 seconds, maximum 70 seconds; longer or shorter
videos will be strongly penalized.
 The sound must be good. Make sure I can clearly hear you. Do not use facemask.

Video: Hablando de tu última celebración de cumpleaños

En esta actividad vas a:

1. Ver un video que explica cómo hablar sobre tu último cumpleaños.

 2. Escribir 10 oraciones sobre cosas que pasaron en tu último cumpleaños. Describe las mejores cosas
sobre lo que pasó en tu celebración. Describe las cosas más importantes sobre el evento: dónde
pasó, qué comieron, quién fue, cómo se sintió la gente, e información relevante que quieras decir.
3. Escribir un guion que describa tu último cumpleaños. Ese guion es lo que vas a decir en el video.
4. Grabar un video corto (mínimo 60 - máximo 70 segundos) describiendo tu última celebración de
cumpleaños.
5. Enviar solo el video. NO envíes el guion.

3. Elige u organiza el lugar que vas a utilizar para hablar de tu último cumpleaños.

algunas. Recuerda que puedes usar imágenes como ayuda.

5. Para grabar tu video, puede usar su teléfono celular, un computador o una cámara. Por favor, verifica
que el video que tienes se pueda reproducir en una computadora; a veces, los videos grabados en un
teléfono celular no pueden.

6. Sube el video a CANVAS.

Consejos para una buena calidad de vídeo y audio:

- Grabar en un lugar tranquilo.

- Habla con claridad.
- Utiliza tu dispositivo manos libres al grabar.
- Es necesario que aparezcas el vídeo
- ¡No leas!
- Para grabar tu video, puedes utilizar tu teléfono celular, una computadora o una cámara. Comprueba que
el vídeo se puede reproducir sin inconvenientes utiliza formatos wma. or mp4.

Condiciones importantes
 Al principio del video, saluda y preséntate (nombre, edad y ciudad). Recuerda que siempre debes
hablar a la cámara. Puedes usar ayudas visuales, pero quiero ver tu cara mientras hablas (no uses
videos o diapositivas que no dejen ver tu cara).
 Recuerda usar vocabulario que hayas aprendido durante el curso o vocabulario con el que estás
familiarizada(o).
 La pronunciación es muy importante; necesito entender y oír lo que estás diciendo.
 Revisa el volumen de tu grabación y asegúrate de que no haya ruido a tu alrededor.
 La duración del video debe ser mínimo de 60 segundos, máximo de 70 segundos; videos más largos,
o más cortos que eso, serán penalizados. No uses tapabocas.

INSTRUCTIVO PARA CARGAR TU TAREA DE

COMPRENSIÓN/PRODUCCIÓN

1. Con tu celular o la cámara web de tu computador graba un video (verifica la duración máxima
y mínima según las instrucciones enviadas por tu tutor).

En la sección Tareas, da clic en Tarea comprensión/producción

 2. Da clic en Entregar tarea

3. En la parte inferior da clic en Grabar/Cargar contenido de medios

En el cuadro selecciona la pestaña “Cargar archivo de medios” y luego da clic en Seleccionar archivo
de video y carga el archivo de video que grabaste con tu celular o con tu cámara web.
4. Ahora da clic en el botón Entregar tarea para que tu tarea sea revisada. Ten en cuenta que el
sistema solo te permitirá hacer un envío, así que debes asegurarte de cargar el video correcto.
