skills such as how to build fires and shelters.

Scouting can help you to develop confidence and self-esteem. This in turn will promote a positive
role model to the people around you such as your family and friends. By having confidence and a strong
character, you will find that you have higher capability to accomplish your goals in life.

Through scouting, you will learn how to be a leader. Scouts are usually divided into patrols. Each
patrol works as ateam and sometimes complete against the other patrols. Not only scouts get to learn new
fascinating things and gain information, they will also learn basic leadership skills which will serve them
well throughout their lives.
