Synopsis
Arabic Upper intermediate 3 aims at providing students with
communicative opportunities to enable them to engage in interactive
Class instructions are delivered only in Arabic language however a mixture of
Arabic and English will be employed in very rare occasions to introduce new
grammatical topics.
Students are encouraged to participate in creative speaking activities,
inventing interactive situations, creating story plots and/or making up new
ending to unfinished ones.
Students are encouraged to interact only in Arabic with the teacher and with
their peers.
There are two consolidation sessions throughout the course, one in the
middle of the course and one at the end of the course. Consolidation exercises
aim at practicing the learned materials through different activities.
Teaching methods target language skills of the whole group as well as
own learning styles.
By the end of the course learners are expected to converse fluently in the
topics they have been introduced to by engaging the language knowledge
they have acquired throughout their past learning experience.
By the end of this Level students are expected to be able to use Arabic
language spelling system accurately.
Students will equally be able to read authentic texts in Arabic and convey the
meaning in their first Language accurately.
