FLOOR TO CEILING HEIGHT OF THE BAKEHOUSE

THEATRE – MAIN STAGE

Bakehouse theatre stage height:-

 From the "nominated" front of stage line,(about a metre from the

front row of audience seats) the ceiling is one height from floor to
actual ceiling of 3.67 metres.

 300 metres further back stage the ceiling begins to slope, ending
with a measurement floor to ceiling taken on the back wall of the
theatre of 3.5 metres

 Both these measurements are the actual physical height of the

ceiling, without taking into account the lighting bars. The lighting
bars, beams etc would take off, 25cms of this height

 At the front of the stage, on each side of the ceiling are two large
speakers. This reduces the height in those two corners by 70cms,
but only takes up a depth from the front of stage line of 18cm, so if
your set is backstage of these speakers then you don't have to take
these into account in your design.
