1.

List and discuss 5 major sources of stress in your life during the
last 5 years.
*First is the pandemic, especially at the time that the news only showing how
the death rate increases because of the virus. Next is financial instability,
because of pandemic one of the major cause of my stress is money to support my
studies. Then studies, because the difficulty of finishing the course becomes
harder. And also thinking my future is one of the major causes my stress, where in
I overthink on what I will be in the future and what I've done to fulfill that
future. And lastly is my family situation because in the last 5 years I always
thinking of "what if I have a complete family?" and "I think I don't have to
pressure myself in studying if someone is supporting or will catch me if I fail".

2. Discuss how stress and job performance are related. Is stress


helping or interfering with your performance in college? How so?
* Stress is one of the factor that decreases job performance. Meaning a stress
unables or interfes the thoughts of an employee/worker, in which they lose focus in
doing their duties as a worker. Yes, it is interfering my performance because
instead of thinking of my studies, l always lose my focus or momentum and keep
thinking this stress all day.

3. Do you see yourself as primarily a Type A or Type B person? What


are the reasons for your choice.
*I am a Type B person because I am more relaxed, patient, and easy-going. And
despite my stresses mentioned above I tend to work steadily, enjoying achievements,
and not stressed when goals are not achieved.

4. Identify someone who has lost his or her job because of


corporate downsizing or the pandemic. Interview the person to
determine how stressful the situation was and how that person
successfully managed the stress.

"I was too stressed that time, because aside from losing a job I also had an
illness. And I am always thinking that "I'm not doing anything that can help my
family financially" and I feel that I am baggage of my family. And I am always
thinking the future of my kids that time. But because of the motivation given by my
mother and out of faith in God to overcome those thoughts and be healed, I was able
to overcome that stress.".
