Based on WW Rostow’s 5 stages of growth, on what stage does Philippines belong?  Explain briefly why.

On my own perspective, Philippines is now under Drive to Maturity stage. People has individual outlooks on how
the Philippines is settling especially now that we are still suffering from the pandemic. I am aware that many Filipinos
became unemployed since this pandemic started but as I look into the whole situation, people are starting to become a
new version of business owners and not just an employee. We start to engage on technologies that are available in our
society to obtain profit even by simply staying at home, we generate income. The Philippines as a whole became a
country who adapts to the new normal in universal education and our country is trying its best to improve our medical
facilities. As a citizen we experience democracy, the freedom to be involve on political issues and has the right to check
the transparency of the government on how well they are leading the country. As what we have seen today, the
government is allocating national funds in building public infrastructures like roads, bridge, rehabilitation of natural
resources and tourist spots like Boracay and Manila Bay. The Build, Build, Build program of the government opened
opportunities for Philippines to mobilize the industry again.
