Introduction
Blood is one of the tissues of human body. The function of blood is as a means of
delivering oxygen to human body and transportation materials between cells. Blood is
consist of fluid, plasma and blood cell. The three components of blood cell are
erythrocytes (red blood cells), leukocytes (white blood cells), and platelets
(thrombocytes).

Pengenalan

⁃ Mengandung hemoglobin
⁃ Mewakili 45% dari total volume darah
⁃ Leukosit :
⁃ Transparan
⁃ diameter 10–14 mikrometer
⁃ mengandung organel, nukleus, dan DNA inti
⁃ jenis sel darah putih: basofil, eosinofil, neutrofil, monosit, dan limfosit
⁃ 0,7% dari total volume darah
⁃ Trombosit :
⁃ diameter 2 hingga 4 mm
⁃ kekurangan inti
⁃ mengandung DNA mitokondria, tetapi bukan DNA inti
⁃ terlibat dalam pembentukan bekuan selama penyembuhan luka
⁃ kurang dari 1% dari total volume darah

Atonomy of blood components :
⁃ Plasma :
⁃ Liquid form
⁃ Consist of proteins and clotting factors, transports nutrients, removes waste 1%
salt, and 90-92% of water
⁃ Represents 55% of total blood volume
⁃ Comprise three important proteins: albumins, globulins, and clotting proteins.
⁃ Erythrocytes :
⁃ biconcave formed
⁃ 8 mm in diameter, 2 mm thick at the outer edges, and 1 mm thick in the center
⁃ Contains hemoglobin
⁃ Represents 45% of total blood volume
⁃ Leukocytes :
⁃ Transparant
⁃ 10–14 micrometers in diameter
⁃ contain organelles, a nucleus, and nuclear DNA
⁃ types of white blood cells: basophils, eosinophils, neutrophils, monocytes, and
lymphocytes
⁃ 0,7% of total blood volume
⁃ Platelets :
⁃ 2 to 4 mm in diameter
⁃ lack nuclei
⁃ contain mitochondrial DNA, but not nuclear DNA
⁃ involved in clot formation during wound healing
⁃ less than 1% of total blood volume
Conclusion

FUN FACT!
8 % of the human body weight is blood. The average of blood volume can reach 5 liters
in woman and 5.5 liters in man.
