NOTIFICATION
As resolved by the Examination Committee held on 28th September, 2021 at 7:30 pm
through online, the following points regarding question pattern, exam type, Mock Exam etc. may
be followed for the Second Continuous Assessment to be held during 7th – 13th October, 2021.
1. Question pattern for elective and core subjects (I, III & V Semesters)
a) Question pattern
Multiple Choice Questions : 15 (1 mark each)
Short Answer (3 marks) : 5 (3 questions to be answered)
Full Mark : 24
b) Exam type: Pen & paper mode. Additional 5 minutes should be given for submission of
scanned copies of answer script by the students.
c) Duration of Examination : 40 minutes
d) Vth semester students’ examinations will be arranged by the departments within the
examination schedule.
e) Mock exam/Test following this question pattern shall be conducted by every department for
their 1st & 3rd Semesters core students as this is going to be their first Pen and Paper mode
online exam.
2. Question pattern for Foundation Course (General English, M I L -Mizo, Alt. English &
History of Science)
a) Duration of Examination : 25 minutes
b) Question pattern : MCQ
No of Multiple-Choice Questions : 24
Total Marks : 24
c) Questions will be prepared by the concern departments using Google Form. Each MCQ
must contain four options and the questions should be reshuffle for each student to avoid
unfair means.
3. CAT-II routines for all streams are also attached.
