Student should sit only for SPM examination.

In Malaysia, it is uncommon for its citizens to take only one examination which is Sijil Pelajaran
Malaysia that has a high qualification in order to further study, but nowadays Malaysian citizens
would prefer to sit only for SPM examination as it is the minimum qualification needed to enrol into
universities in Malaysia. I am strongly disagree that students should only sit for SPM examination as
taking more examination will provide various opportunity to further study and increase self-
marketability for their future career. However, I am also agree that student should do so due to the
expense consumption.

To begin with, examinations are crucial provide the students various pathways to further study as
they have various qualification. Student that sit for more exams will have more chances to study
abroad in well-known universities unlike the student that sit only for SPM examination will have less
chances to further study. For instance, the student that take Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia will have
more qualification and chances to study in middle eastern countries like Egypt, Jordan and Mecca.
The student also might get a proper education with advanced facilities to study.

Another point, sitting for more examinations will increase the self-marketability if the student for
their future career. The SPM examination will test the only the students' knowledge. On the other
hand other examinations like Malaysian University English Test (MUET) will include the skills that is
needed to meet the job requirement such as analytical skill, communication skill and so on. This
proves the fact that sitting for more exams will increase the students' self-marketability.

In the meantime, I am also agree that students should sit only for SPM examination because
students have to spend a lot of money to sit for more exam. The poor students might not be able to
afford it. The SPM qualification also has already fulfil the minimum requirement in order to enrol to
a university in Malaysia. The students still at least has their opportunity to further study.

Sitting for only SPM examination is not advisable as it will limit our chances to further study and
capability pursue our future career. In some different ways, it would be adviseable to sit only for
SPM examination as it requires a lot of expenses to take more exams.
