What is logarithm?

Logarithm
For all positive numbers a, where a=1, a
logarithm is an exponent, and logax is the exponent
to which a must be raised in order to obtain x. The
number a is called the base of the logarithm and x
is called the argument of the expression logax . The
value of x will always be positive.

“How to solve Logarithmic Function or Equation”
Logs and exponentials are opposite operations of
each other, the best way to solve log is to rewrite it
into exponential form and solve for x.
1. Isolate the logarithmic term on one side
of the equation and combine logarithmic term if
possible
2. Write the equation in exponential from
3. Solve the variable.
