Yes , this is very true that social interaction and group affiliation are vital factors in

creating our self-concept especially in the aspect of providing us with our social identity or our
perception of who we are based on our membership to certain group.
My awareness in this aspect in our group are the following: unity shared interests, values,
language, backgrounds, social roles and family ties. Group identification is one way that
individuals make assumptions about others' identities where affiliation is negotiated in order to
come up with our goal and success.
This aspect are needful in my identity to be able to know what are the different traits and
characters that will be established in a group as well as the limitation being handled and showed
to each individual.  If this values traits and characters are present there will be a good exchange and
there is no competition happened in a group. There will be no conflict occurs but cooperation and good
accommodation will be achieved.
Just like in our group, we need to know each individual if he or she is a maranao /Islam,
Christian, IP’s and etc. for us to know what language and other values that we need to use during our
conversation to be able to
