Before you go to a home meeting, a prayer meeting or a Sunday morning meeting, set aside extra time to get in the presence of the Lord; to thank Him and to pray for yourself and for all the saints before you go. Begin by asking the Holy Spirit to anoint and guide your prayer time. Following are some prayer suggestions. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Ask the Lord to show you anything you need to repent of. You may want to pray the apostolic prayers over your family and the church body. Pray the Lord would have HIS WAY in the meeting; that He would get what He wants accomplished in His people. Ask the Lord to encourage and strengthen whoever is struggling. Ask God to heal whoever needs healing. Pray for pastor to have the mind of Christ and to speak whatever God wants. Pray that God would give all of us ears to hear and hearts to apply His Word. Ask God to cause every person to draw closer to Him than ever before. Pray that the FIRE of HIS PRESENCE would burn in our midst. Pray that He would be glorified and we would all grow in love for Him.
