1. Question: What are the implications of Dale’s Cone of Experience in the teaching and learning
process?

Complete the I-tweet Organizer below.

Answer:

Edgar Dale "theorized that learners retain more information by what they "do" rather than what they
"hear," "read," or "observe." It assists teachers in keeping their students' attention in class. There are
more opportunities for effective learning when students participate in class.

It also teaches teachers how to choose the best media to use in their classrooms.

For example, if the teacher assigns an experimental activity, the students will learn more because,
according to Edgar Dale, students learn more when they are the ones “doing” the activity rather than
observing or listening..

2. Question: Do you think that learners should experience all stages of Dale’s Cone of Experience?
Support your answer.
Answer:

Yes, because the learners can read and hear at the top of the cone, they can experience this by defining,
listing, describing, and explaining the situation. While the middle of the cone is also experiences of
learners because if you are a learner, you can demonstrate what you want to say, and you can also apply
a possible situation to a real life situation on the side frim that you can also practice your mind to do the
task that teachers assigned to you. The last part of the cone can also experience of the learners because
as a learners you can analyze the difficult situation that you encounter in your life, and you can also
defined meaning own your own words to create another definition, and evaluation yourself what aspect
that your in weak and strong.

3. Question: What are the most appropriate instructional material that would best deliver every stage of
Dale’s Cone of Experience? (Limit only to the ten original stages).

Answer:
Flash Cards, Posters/Pictures, Realia, Charts, and Printed materials are the best instructional materials
for delivering each stage of Dale's Cone of Experience. From the first to the last stage of Dale's Cone of
Experience, this instructional material will be critical. This would also help to pique the student's
interest. Example, if a student loses his or her interest in class or if she or he finds the class boring, a
teacher could use the different IM’s to help the students learn in an effective way.
