ReddyYeti Spotlight - Aftershokz Aeropex

(Weird spacing and grammar is used for voice inflections)

This ReddyYeti Spotlight is all about the Aftershokz Aeropex - Bone Conducting headphones

These bluetooth headphones are designed for people who are active, that need something
lightweight and comfortable for long periods of listening time.

Instead of going inside your ear, like earbuds

Or over your ears

The speakers for These headphones sit in front of your ears,

lightly resting on your skull bone,
which transfers the music through this bone conducting technology.

The main benefit of bone conduction for sound, is that your ears are still free to pick up the
surrounding sounds of your environment.

For runners, cyclists, or any activity where it would be good to know your surroundings,
you’ll be able to listen to your music or podcasts and still hear that car that is approaching.

These headphones are also great for listening when someone needs to get your attention.

The low profile allows you to wear them with glasses, hats, and helmets with no problems.

They’re also super comfortable for long periods of time.

A lot of people experience some soreness with earbuds inside of the ear, or their ears start
getting hot and sweaty with over the ear headphones, because there’s not enough air flow.

These Aftershokz Aeropex headphones can be worn for hours without discomfort, which also
makes them a great accessory to have at work. They even have a noise canceling microphone
built in, to take phone calls.

If you do plan on getting sweaty or caught outside in the rain, you can leave these headphones
on, because they are waterproof with an IP67 rating.

Now these aren't going to deliver the same sound as your premium noise cancelling, bass
shaking over the ear headphones, but they’re not made for that. I definitely wouldn’t choose
these to drown out sound on an airplane. But, the clarity of the sound is much more impressive
than you’d think for the sound traveling through your bones into your skull.
A full charge will keep you listening for 8 hours, with a full recharge time of 2 hours. Speaking of,
in order to charge the Aeropex, you’ll need to use their proprietary cable; but fortunately they
give you 2 of these cables in the box, so you can worry a little less about misplacing one.

If you’re looking for a set of headphones that you can wear all day every day, you should check
out the Aftershokz Aeropex.
