II. Practical Ethics: How do you think you should decide whether what you
are doing is ethical or not?
Utilitarian Ethics: I got a score of 30, which meant that I follow
Utilitarian Ethics. This meant that I value the greater good.
Deontological Ethics: I got a score of 34, which meant that I follow
Deontological Ethics. Deontological Ethics use rules to determine what
is right from wrong.
Virtue Ethics: I got a score of 22, which signifies that I do not agree
with Virtue Ethics.
Natural Law Ethics: I got a score of 25, which meant that I agree with
Natural Law Ethics.
Social Contract Ethics: I got a score of 18, which meant that I do not
follow Social Contract Ethics.
Care Ethics: I got a score of 24, which meant that I agree with Care
Ethics.
Insights: I think the test was quite accurate. Although I am not completely sure whether
I side with Ethical relativism or Ethical universalism, the results for the Practical Ethics
was rather close to what I follow. In my opinion I follow Care ethics and Deontological
ethics diligently, but in some instances which include great numbers of people affected,
I follow Utilitarian ethics.
