Know Your COVID19 Vaccine - Covaxin
Know Your COVID19 Vaccine - Covaxin
Covaxin is one of the vaccines approved under Emergency use to combat Covid-19. While the media
and government have been spreading all the promises related to it, it is important to understand what
does this vaccine contain and what processes have been used to make it.
Below is the Data-Sheet providing details of Covaxin:
I would like to focus your attention towards the red box which contains the ingredients of Covaxin.
We will now take each of the ingredients and have a look at them:
TLR 7/8 agonist is used as vaccine adjuvant in the vaccine. An adjuvant is a drug or other
substance, or a combination of substances, that is used to increase the efficacy or potency of
certain drugs.
Toll-like receptor 8 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TLR8 gene.[5] TLR8 has also
been designated as CD288 (cluster of differentiation 288). TLR8 is an endosomal receptor that
recognizes single stranded RNA (ssRNA), and can recognize ssRNA viruses such as
Influenza, Sendai, and Coxsackie B viruses. TLR8 binding to the viral RNA recruits MyD88
and leads to activation of the transcription factor NF-κB and an antiviral response.

Interestingly both TLR 7 and TLR 8 contains 0.09% Sodium Azide which according to Wikipedia :
Sodium azide has caused deaths for decades.[16] It is a severe poison. It possesses the NFPA
704's highest rating of 4 on the health scale. It may be fatal in contact with skin or if
swallowed.[17] Even minute amounts can cause symptoms. The toxicity of this compound is
comparable to that of soluble alkali cyanides. And it is used in in agriculture for pest control of
soil-borne pathogens.

Aluminum has been , across last 15-20 years, linked to neurological disorder within humans and
animals. Aluminum Adjuvant has also been seen as to play an important role in Gulf War Illness
among veterans in 1991.

d. 2-Phenoxyethanol
As per Wikipedia, Phenoxyethanol is a vaccine preservative and potential allergen, which may
result in a nodular reaction at the site of injection.[8] It reversibly inhibits NMDAR-mediated ion
currents.[9] Ingestion may cause central nervous system and respiratory depression, vomiting
and diarrhea in infants, particularly when combined with chlorphenesin.
Phenoxyethanol is used as a perfume fixative; an insect repellent; an antiseptic;
a solvent for cellulose acetate, dyes, inks, and resins; a preservative for pharmaceuticals,
cosmetics and lubricants; an anesthetic in fish aquaculture; and in organic synthesis.
Phenoxyethanol is an alternative to formaldehyde-releasing preservatives.[4] In Japan and the
European Union, its concentration in cosmetics is restricted to 1%. Studies have shown that
phenoxyethanol has the potential to cause negative effects to the brain and nervous system.
These dangers can occur through inhalation or absorption of phenoxyethanol
