Printed Editions
Whenever an abbreviation refers to a book whose title contains more than one work,
the related bibliographical reference is preceded by the title of the work and its author.
The title page (whenever present, in its English version) is closely, though not com-
pletely, reproduced; e.g., academic or honorific titles are not recorded, and “edited by”
is abbreviated with “ed.”
Spelling is not standardized.
In the case of Tibetan works, unless otherwise specified, references are to the Peking
edition.
